Statistics 335 is a course examining software useful for graduates students in the Department of Statistics at Harvard University. The software to discussed during the term is expected to include:

  • Unix / Linux
  • LaTeX
  • SPlus / R
  • Matlab
  • SAS
  • Plus others as time permits
The links on the left for the various packages will include references for the various packages, with some being links to online resources.

Announcements

The pdf files for most of the overheads have been regenerated to correct problems with some of the mathematic symbols and postscript based graphics. An unintended advantage is that the pdf files are now smaller the the original versions on this site. (Feb 9, 2004).
